PNOAC Day 4: NCR Teams win in Philippine national archery competition

TEAMS from the National Capital Region (NCR) emerged victorious in the last day of the 2016 Philippine National Outdoor Archery Tournament at the San Pedro Calungsod Templete at the South Road Properties (SRP) yesterday.

Julian Luis Valenzuela, Jonathan Ebbinghans Reaport and Atanacio Pellicer III of Team 3J earned gold medals in the Recurve Junior Men’s division to lead the way for archers up north.

Manila Polo’s Flor Matan, Caelan Saval and Matthew Joseph Ang also secured gold medals in the Recurve Men’s Team competition.

Multi-awarded archers Andrea Orbeta, Rachelle Anne Dela Cruz and Charmaine Angela Villamor of the Dream Team topped the Recurve Women’s Team while Manila-based Benel Archery composed of  Delfin Anthony Adriano, Jose Ferdinand Adriano and Joseph Vicencio reigned supreme in the Compound Men’s competition.

The Cebu Archery Club, comprising of Christian Caresosa, Niño Maanaig and Khalil Abella, topped the Recurve Cadet Men’s division since it was the lone team in the event.
