It used to be known as the Philippine Archers’ National Network and Alliance (PANNA) and the Archery Federation of the Philippines prior to that. It is accredited by the World Archery Federation, the governing body for the sport of archery in the world.

The concluded 2016 2nd Philippine Archery Cup, Visayas Leg has been a successful event. The event held in Dumaguete City was a sensation!
The WAP officers, namely: Chairman Felizardo Sevilla, President Clint Aranas, VP Internal Sheree Gotuaco, VP Government Peter Miguel, VP Marketing Daniel Ongchoco, Treasurer John Philip Orbeta and yours truly would like to thank all of you archers who participated the tournament.
To all the officials from Judges Committee & Tabulators/Scorers headed by Judge Mildred de Leon, Dennis Torre, Ally Paceno, Fe Empaynado, Heracleo Patrimonio, Jonathan Tapang, Majah Najah Benedicto, Gervilyn Oclinaria, Vanny Lou Besario, Jonette Sese & Katherine Rae Cabrera, to the Ground Crew Members, Noel Gara, Richard Butac, Rigel Antipuesto and Romel Bien.
Also the Coaching Staff: Head Coach Joy Mariño, Clint Sayo & Marvin Cordero, we would like to thank you all for a successful tournament.
